WHAT TO BRING:
You are always welcome to come
as you are, however we do recommend you bring a few items to make your
fishing excursion more enjoyable.
- CAMERA - We always capture
a shot or two of our trips but this will be an experience of a lifetime
and we are sure you will want some pictures to remember it by after
your catch has been eaten.
- WARM CLOTHS/RAIN GEAR
- As with and recreational plans it is generally best to check the
weather forecast a day in advance. The CHALLENGER II provides
a warm dry cabin, however you can't catch fish from inside the cabin.
- SOFT - SOLED/NON-SLIP SHOES
- We ask you wear these for your own benefit. Occasionally boat
decks get wet and can become slippery. Boat or Tennis shoe can assist
in preventing slipping.
- FOOD and BEVERAGES
- Depending on the length of your charter you may want to bring
something to snack on just incase you get hungry. All beverages
are welcome, we just ask alcoholic beverages be consumed in moderation.
- COOLER (for transporting
your catch) - We have coolers on board to keep your catch on ice
during the charter. You will want to have a cooler available to
carry you fish home in. We have special bags to place you fish in.
Fish cleaning is available on the boat.
- FISHING LICENSE - We
fish both Illinois and Wisconsin waters to be sure to contact us
the day before your trip to verify where we will be fishing. Make
sure to obtain a Lake Michigan Salmon/Trout stamp. This stamp is
require for fishing on Lake Michigan. We do offer Illinois lincenses
and stamps for purchase on the boat.
- SUNBLOCK - During the summer
months, the sun can become intense on Lake Michigan, be sure to
protect yourself.
